Top- Ross Skirt- Ross Wedges-Nordstrom Rack Necklace- Charlotte Russe

I have always been a fan of neutrals. They go with everything, and being a mom with a budget, getting those staple pieces can make a simpler wardrobe very versatile. Of course, you always want a pop of color here and there to keep things interesting, or to draw the eye to a specific part of the body- scarves for the face, hot nail polish for the waist, or shoes for a classy, but sassy look.

Here I'm keeping it simple with a light brown top with gold hardware and a forest green skirt. I love the slight sheen of the skirt and top which it gives a slightly more luxurious feel. Tying it together are nude wedges, a skinny brown belt with tiny gold studs, and a chucky white and gold necklace. The necklace is definitely the star fo the outfit, bringing a pop of brightness to the otherwise soft shades of brown and green. This is a perfect look for the office or casual date after work.
