Day 9- The Jean Shirt Outfit

Jean shirt. Very trendy.

I have always owned a jean shirt for as long as I can remember. My husband purchased this particular one for me some months ago on a whim. I was very pleasantly surprised. Comfortable fabric, in faded gray, I thought; perfect. Jeans are an obvious staple in every girl's closet (except mine lol) and jean shirts are becoming just as 'in' right now. A classic jean shirt will never go out of style, because they are jeans, the material that has been around for, well, decades.

Here I am wearing a gray jean shirt with a soft woven cotton gray and black pencil skirt with silver accessories. For some sparkle, I added black sequinned faux TOM shoes. They are just too comfortable, although they do remind me of my grandpa. He always wore these kinds of shoes. It just goes to show how fashion always recirculates. Monochrome outfits are always easy and always work. When you don't have time to coordinate various colors, just go monochrome. Plus, gray is great for the colder weather we are starting to have here in LA.
