Day 19- Pop that Baby Blue
Surprise! It's more than holiday leftovers sitting in this belly.
We've finally decided to share our surprise with the world. We're expecting #2. I'm currently 5 months pregnant, due this May. You'd think it would be less exciting the second time around, but it isn't! This pregnancy has taken me for a whirlwind. It is completely different in EVERY aspect from my first. This second round I had morning sickness until the afternoon for the first trimester, terrible lower backaches, headaches, sudden drops in blood sugar, and super exhaustion. The only good thing this time around is I haven't gained as much weight as the first time around (not sure if it was worth it, lol). But, since I have had trouble finding many other pregnancy outfit blogs, I decided I would dedicate a separate page for it on mine, so it would be easy to find for any expecting mothers. I can't believe we are half way there!
So today, a nice cold, but refreshing winter day I decided to take out the tights (yes I have to wear them bellow the large belly). Tights are great because they are warm, and also cover my legs that I may or may not have time to shave. Yay winter and leg wear. I decided I was feeling like a nice pop of color, so I chose this silky blue dress and just kept everything else black to emphasize the color. Plus there is a stretchy elastic waist which doesn't yet cut into my stomach, so I figured I should wear it before I...well...can't. It's already significantly shorter than when I wore it pre-pregnancy. I paired it with my new favorite ankle boots in black to help elongate my legs and my favorite fake leather jacket, bought in Las Vegas two years ago (pre-baby #1).
It's funny how as a mom you start to think of things not so much by time but by whether they occured before or after your child's birth.

Day 20- Neutral Nude
Tan on tan on tan on tan. It's Safari time.
Went to a small Lego convention this weekend with my husband and kid. It was pretty small but it was a nice outting and something to do on a Sunday. Then we went to this great little outdoor shopping area with wide open spaces that my big boy just LOVED running around. That's my parenting tip for the day- find huge spaces of flat open area and let them run-a lot. I felt super casual, so I just put on a bunch of everything in the same shade of tan/cream. That's what's so good about neutrals, they go with anything, even other neutrals.
Today I wore my comfy cardigan trench coat, lace dress, some sheer tights and my tan ankle boots. Soooo comfortable. I love these boots.

Day 21- Boho Chic
Patterns, and colors and zigags, oh my!
You know those days when you are pregnant and you just don't want anything tight on your stomach? Opt for the maxi dress. Always elegant, instantly gives you height, and hides everything, the maxi dress is a pregnant girl's best friend. It's also a no shaving legs necessary outfit. Bonus.
#ootd Today I am wearing my long, earthy boho chic outfit with my favorite ankle boots and a fedora. Hats and accessories in general look nice with the maxi dress since it is so long.

Day 22- Army Jacket
The goes with everyday everythings...jacket.
It's getting slightly warmer in LA and I had recently purchased a lovely army green jacket with soft, plush cream colored lining on the inside. This jacket has a hood, string ties for y expanding waist and even ties at the back to conch the bottom of the jacket if I want. I'm obsessed. It goes with everything and is super comfortable and loose. This jacket is great for this transition weather of cold and slightly less cold.

Day 23- Fur vest. Blue Dress
What's black, and white, and blue all over? Me.
Today I am feeling whimsical and girly. Valentine's Day is coming up and I have so many wonderful things up my sleeve for my dear husband to enjoy. School has started again for me and for now it is going great and I have tons of free time to still spend with y family and my precious baby boy and bump, who often gets forgotten while I chase his/er older borhter around. I also love wearing this faux fur vest because it comfortable and not too hot or cold for this weird LA weather we are having. Plus, my son loves to snuggle up against it and pet it since it is so soft (aaahhh, I just want to eat him up). Plus, you could wear this for Valentine's Day if you wanted and make blue the new pink, which I am very tempted to do.
#ootd Today's outfit is my light blue dress topped with a loose button down blue shirt and a white faux fur vest and ankle boots, the perfect going out for a dinner date mommy wear. Because I still like to wear heels on a date, but stilettos are too risky with my lack of balance and way less comfortable.

Day 24- Are you ready for Valentine's Day?
Red. The color of amore.
I am so excited for Valentine's Day. It just so happens tht it is also the day my amazing husband proposed! I am secretly hoping for lots of massages this Sunday since I am pregnant beyond belief at this point. It's definitely a waiting game at this point. I am only 6 months and ready to meet this new munchkin!!!! For our dinner date, which I am pretty sure we will be doing, I am wearing my sultry 'oooh lala' but very comfortable and expanding waist-lined dress, with just a pop of red to bring out the V-Day spirit.
#ootd I a wearing my black dress with black tights, my favorite Calving Klein red scarf and cute bootie heels. And of course, so me red lipstick. Ooooh, kiss marks will be seen everywhere. Just how I like it.

Day 25- Family Photoshoot
A grey-t day.
We did our yearly family photoshoot this past weekend and it was lovely. I kept my outfit simple since I'm pregnant and just wanted to look nice, and not like some huge, pregnant whale with a thousand colors on her.It was great day spending time with familiy.

Day 26- Casual Cool
Hoodies and sneakers.
Today I felt no desire for heels. I just felt pregnant and whale-like and wanted somethig super easy, cute, AND cofortable to wear for everyday errands. So I decided today I am going to wear sneakers, which I don't do very often.Cute, colorful, semi-flat sneakers are a great way to look cute and not have you feet hurt at the end of the day.
#ootd Today, I am wearing my oh so casual hoodie striped dress made out of the most stretchy, comfortable cotton material ever, my multi-colored purse for fun, my blue sneakers and my fedora. I could sleep in this outfit it's so comfortable.
